I used this product to line my empty trunk, which had zero carpet, padding, or insulation, and was the main source of vibration and road noise in my car. Before installation, the trunk area was incredibly loud, with excessive rattling and external noise seeping into the cabin. I applied the material to the entire trunk floor, bottom, and the underside of the package tray, leaving out only the wheel wells. The difference was night and day—the reduction in noise was so noticeable that I was genuinely surprised by how much quieter the interior became. I chose the thicker MAX version, and I’m really glad I did. The grid pattern made it easy to cut straight sections, and I used a razor knife and heavy-duty shears to get precise shapes for my installation. The material is super thick and durable, yet flexible enough to work with, making the process simple and efficient. Installation was a breeze—just peel and stick, and you can smooth it down with your fingers or a roller for a perfect bond. There’s no smell, and it adheres immediately and securely. One thing to be cautious of is the sharp edges of the foil top liner—I didn’t wear gloves and ended up with several small cuts on my fingers, similar to paper cuts. The temperature also plays a role—working in around 70°F makes installation easier, as the adhesive becomes stickier in warmer conditions, improving the bond. One important tip is to pre-plan your layout, so the printed lettering on the material aligns in the same direction, giving a clean, professional look. I used a roller tool to firmly press the material in place, which helped smooth out any air pockets and create a solid, even application. I was genuinely amazed by the noise reduction—after applying it to my Porsche 928’s hatch area, front floors, and the backside of the fender block-off plates, the difference was immediately noticeable. This is an excellent product! I paired it with Siless Sound Dampening material to maximize noise reduction and insulation in my CUV, as I’m converting it into an interior camper for winter snowstorm chasing. I applied a double layer on the ceiling, following the same principle as home insulation—more insulation up top for better heat retention—and a single layer throughout the rest of the vehicle. The difference in soundproofing and temperature control was immediately noticeable, making the space quieter and more comfortable. The installation process was straightforward and hassle-free, and I also felt good about my purchase since I got to support Ukraine. I initially considered Kilmat products, but since they are made in the Russian Federation, choosing Siless was an easy and meaningful decision for me. There are a couple of things to keep in mind. First, the adhesive is extremely sticky, which is great for staying in place but requires careful handling. If you touch it too much, some of the adhesive can transfer to your fingers, which may reduce its effectiveness. To avoid this, I pre-cut pieces to the exact size I needed, making them small enough to fit tight spaces and ensuring the second layer overlapped the seams, preventing heat from escaping. Second, I realized I needed a little more material to finish my project but not enough to justify buying a whole extra roll. If 50 sq. ft. were available, it would have been the perfect amount for my setup—but this is more of a minor inconvenience than a real issue. Overall, this product performs exceptionally well, and I’m very satisfied with the results. It looks great, is easy to install, and delivers outstanding insulation and noise reduction. I would absolutely buy it again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their vehicle’s interior insulation!

I really love this product, though I do wish it was a bit cheaper. That said, it’s essentially Dynamat quality but at a much better price, so it’s still a great deal compared to the big-name brands. I used three boxes of this material in my 2006 extended cab 2500HD, covering as much of the interior as possible. While it didn’t drastically reduce road noise, that wasn’t my main goal—I specifically bought it to stop my back panel from rattling due to my subwoofers’ heavy bass output. Before installing Siless, it sounded like someone was flapping a loose sheet of roofing metal in the wind every time the bass hit. I applied two full boxes to the back wall, and while there was still a little bit of flex, the rattling and metallic vibrations were completely eliminated. The result was a much cleaner, deeper bass sound, and surprisingly, I even noticed that more bass was audible outside of the truck. The material adhered securely and evenly, and installation was straightforward and easy to manage. If you’re looking for a cost-effective way to reduce panel vibrations and improve sound clarity, this product gets the job done well. I would definitely buy it again and highly recommend it to anyone dealing with loud subwoofer vibrations in their vehicle!
